Paintball USA in Palmdale offers family fun participating in games conducted by referees. The referees explain the safety rules, the strategies, and tactics on how to play paintball games. There is a safety video that all players must watch prior to registration. https://www.paintballusa.org/
After receiving the rental gear, loading up your gear with paintballs, and donning your safety mask and vest, you will head over to the target range where a referee will show you how to operate your paintball gun. This is especially helpful if you haven’t ever played before.
Before entering the field for your first skirmish, the referee will give a verbal safety orientation. Beginners using rental guns always play together and not with the more advanced players that bring in their custom guns. Players using paintball soft rental guns will play separate games from the standard .68 caliber rentals.
If a group has at least ten participants, they can choose to have private games at no additional cost. This is a popular choice amongst paintball birthday parties. Wearing the appropriate clothing helps you to stay safe which leads to more fun out on the game field.
The reason why so many families choose Paintball USA is due to the fact that we keep beginners separate and we offer budget friendly rental packages that include gear and paintballs. There are lots of shaded picnic tables, some with private tented areas, so parties can bring in food and ice chests or maybe order a pizza from the nearby Mountain Mike’s. https://www.paintballusa.org/welcome-information
Parties can arrive earlier than 10am when we open if they want to decorate their picnic area. The party coordinator can pull in their vehicle right up to their picnic tables which makes it easier and more convenient to unload and set up their picnic.
No problem with bringing in barbecues if they are propane. Due to the park’s location in a brush filled area, charcoal barbecues are not recommended. Hibachis and warmers that take sterno cans for heating are allowable.
Our party goers and paintball players tend to socialize here, get to know each other on repeat visits, and even set up joint game days after awhile to become regular players. No hostility here. Just good, family friendly vibes.
